Beginning Herbalism (STANDARD Student)

This is for students enrolling in the Beginning Herbalism class. This is a 4 week long course with virtual live class once per week. In this class we will explore the basics of Herbal Folk Medicine from around the world and how those healing practices can be utilized in a modern context. Students will be responsible for 1 individual project and 1 Discussion Board post every week. Your Student Agreement, Text Book, Syllabus, and link for the Live Classroom will be available and emailed to you 7 days before the start of class.

In Beginning Herbalism we will cover:

·      How Herbs Work

·      Basic Botanical Knowledge 

·      What is an herbalist

·      Philosophical Foundations of Herbalism

·      Holistic Vs. Allopathic

·      Dangers, Interactions, and Contradictions

·      Working with herbs

·      Making simple medicine
